Five words about yourself:
Her words: He is handsome, adventurous, hilarious, selfless, and the kindest man I know.
His words: Kindhearted, Intelligent, Foxy, Fascinating, Bootylicious.
How you met:
Her words: We actually grew up in the same small town and school, but we never really talked growing up. In 2014 we both went on a missions trip to Nicaragua where we actually started talking and became friends.
His words: We were raised in the same small town and she was only a grade under me all throughout school. We never talked, but then I started going to the church that her dad was the pastor of. On a missions in Nicaragua is where we first started to form a relationship.
How he proposed:
Her words: We were long distance at that time, Logan was living in Oklahoma City then, so I flew out there to be with him for Christmas. He planned the best date ever, shopping, movies, and a romantic dinner at this restaurant in downtown. That weekend though, a winter storm hit with crazy wind, rain and flooding. When we came out of the restaurant we were basically running for to the car, well I was actually the one running. However, Logan stopped me under a canopy outside of the restaurant. The wind was blowing my hair everywhere, I couldn’t even see, when I pushed it aside I looked down and saw him on one knee with the most beautiful pearl ring. I said yes! When we got to the car we were both soaked but I didn’t care at all, I was so excited and had tears in my eyes.
His words: I was living in Oklahoma City at the time, while I went through air traffic control academy. She came to visit me for Christmas and I had booked a carriage ride in downtown where I was planning to pop the question. Huge storm hit that day and the ride was canceled, so I ended up doing it outside of the steakhouse we ate at… in the pouring rain. Didn’t work out exactly how I had imagined but the important thing is she said yes.
If you can give a sneak peek about the wedding details what one thing
would you give?
Well in a few words let’s go with: it will be like a forest and there will be a lot of Moss.
What is the most important thing you have to have for your wedding?
Her words: Well, the bride and groom both being there would be a pretty good start. The preacher could show up too. The people we love who have prayed for us and guided us to this point would be there obviously. But I think the most important thing would be love. To love each other like Christ loves us.
His words: My bride, my family, my friends, that is all I need.
